New Rate Limits And Why

We've put a rate limit on incoming messages. We've done this to prevent abuse from users plugging the message queues with nonsense, causing delays with legitimate messages being delivered. This makes us look bad by having a slow service. We're taking a very active role in making sure this service remains awesome and useful for the people that find it so.

The rate limit we have put in place is 3 messages posted per rolling 1 minute intervals. Anything over that will be discarded. If we see that your account is abusing the service, we will eliminate your presence from our systems.

If you think 3 a minute is too low, hit us up with a comment or two explaining why. We're going to roll with the rate limiting, but your suggestion would perhaps convince us to allow for a bit more than we do.
