Where's My Ping.fm?!

You've noticed the past couple days of Pinging have been sloooow and maybe a bit cumbersome. Maybe you've even noticed some lost pings? Well, we know that sucks, and we're gonna tell you why this has been happening.

The simple answer is: we're wayyy overloaded. We have way too many users and activity that our hardware can handle. It's a pretty common problem with new start-up services that gain good growth in their early stages.

But wait! There's light at the end of this tunnel. It's kind of ironic too. We've been getting slammed like this right in the middle of some major hardware upgrades. We're focusing a lot of time and cash into brand spanking new hardware for you pingheads. Here in the next couple weeks, outages will be a thing of the past.

So we ask of you...Please bear with us as we get our system upgrades. We know it sucks, but there will definitely be some nice rewards for everyone. We strive on keeping this service top notch. You should know, you got us blogging at midnight.
